Kote are also usually the item of bōgu which are subject to the most wear. Therefore, at Shogun Kendogu, we painstakingly hand make every pair of kote to order in our workshop in Japan, to ensure the quality of their construction. The result is a product with unmatched fit and flexibility.

While we are proud of the level of quality in all of our kendo equipment, kote are our specialty. Our Nara-based craftsmen are also experienced kendoka are happy to answer any questions you may have prior to and after your purchase, and many adjustments can be made depending on your needs.
