Introducing the new Ishizue kote!

Shogun Kendogu has designed set of kote for those new to the world of Kendo - the perfect set for everyday training without the fuss. Our Ishizue kote have been created to make gripping the shinai easy without the hassle of having to break them in over weeks of training. Simply unbox them, and get training as if they were your old favourites!

Whether your they sit in your bogu bag or in the dojo changing rooms between trainings, kote can be easily damaged when they do not have a chance to dry out before the next training. Sound like you? We’ve found a solution! The tenouchi (palms) of our Ishizue kote are a synthetic leather – durable and fast drying. The fists are filled with synthetic cotton, and wrapped in orizashi fabric – again, all designed to maximise lifespan with a minimum of maintenance required.

Shogun Kendogu’s Ishizue kote come standard with a 6mm futon for maximum protection, and can be manufactured quickly for immediate dispatch. In fact, as long as we have your size we can dispatch within 10 days!
