With the use of #8000 grade cotton and a special blend of sheep wool and cotton, the Black Label kote ensures the highest level of durability and protection. Genuine Fujioka (aizome) deer leather from New Zealand is used to reinforce the head of the kote, and the same high quality leather is also used for the palms. With a 1.8bu hand-stitched tsutsu (forearm), the stylish and 'traditional' look of these kote cannot be overstated. True of all kote in the Shogun Kendogu range of equipment, our original “Kazutaka Cut” ensures optimal fit and ease of use from the outset.
A culmination of the finest materials, the appearance of a hand-stitched item of kendogu, and the skill and care of the Shogun Kendogu craftsmen, make these the undeniable flag-ship pair of kote in our product range - and provide the protection and style demanded by discerning kendo-ka.
